Chant 10228 Universal Hydraulic Test Stand

Model 10228 Hydraulic Test Stand is used to bench test, repair and troubleshoot all LAV family of vehicles hydraulic equipment as well as other vehicles such as MK-48, MK-17, AAV, M-88 Hercules hydraulic components.

The Test Stand Console consists of a 80” long x 30” wide test area with a touch screen display, 150hp variable speed electric drive (VSD), 40hp hydraulic power unit (HPU), a 24 volt/30 amp variable DC power supply and test connection, a 110 volt/30 amp AC electrical test connection, and an enclosed test sink area with hydraulic Test Ports. Located along the front panel of the operator’s console are all the necessary controls and indicators to start the hydraulic pump, and control pressures and flows to all the test ports. The touch screen displays VSD-RPM, Oil Temperature (OF) and Flow (GPM). Also located on the console are analog pressure gauges to measure the parameters of the Unit Under Test (UUT).

The hydraulic power source consists of a 10 GPM, 5000 psi hydraulic pump driven by a 40 HP electric motor. The oil (designed for MIL-PRF-6083F, QUAL-H-6032, SPO 45-00-0-0407-0016) is supplied from the 40 gallon Main Reservoir tank & a 30 gallon elevated pressure tank.

The reservoir, the pump, valves, filters, flow meter and heat exchanger are all contained in one common area within the enclosure and can be accessed from the various panel locations.

Test ports are all located within the enclosed sink area and are used to connect the hydraulic systems which are used to test the integrity and functionality of the UUT.

Chant 9736909 Universal Automatic Hydraulic Test Stand

Chant Engineering Model 9736909, Universal Automatic Hydraulic Test Stand is used for testing aircraft control components. The Test Stand Console consists of a 96” wide test bench with (1) 21” touchscreen monitors and CPU, splashguard, high speed Variable Speed Drive, and test sink with Oil Supply Ports, Return Ports, Temperature Control, and Sump.

Located along the panel of the console are all the necessary controls to start the multiple hydraulic pumps and control pressures and flows to all the test ports. Displayed on the monitor are all pressures, flows, speeds, torques and temperatures in order to accurately measure parameters of the units under test (UUT).

The reservoir, the pumps, valves, filters, heaters and heat exchanger are all contained in one common rear service enclosure.

The main reservoir contains immersion heaters for heating the hydraulic oil and a water cooled heat exchanger to cool the hydraulic oil. The operator can specify a temperature setpoint on the monitor to which the water cooling or heaters will engage as needed to reach and maintain the temperature setpoint.

There is a variable speed motor which provides adjustable speed up to 14,000 rpm for testing pump devices.

Chant Engineering Model 97371008, Universal Automatic Hydraulic Test Stand is used for testing aircraft control components. The Test Stand Console consists of a 107” wide test bench with two 15” monitors and CPU, splashguard, high speed Variable Speed Drive, and test sink with Pressure and Return Test Ports, DC Power connection, Temperature Control, and Sump.

Located along the panel of the console are all the necessary controls to start the multiple hydraulic pumps and control pressures and flows to all the test ports. Displayed on the monitor are all pressures, flows, speeds, torques and temperature in order to accurately measure parameters of the units under test (UUT).

The reservoir, the pumps, valves, filters, heaters and heat exchanger are all contained in one common enclosure with rear access for easy maintenance and service.
